Evaluations & Screenings
A closer look into your child's strengths, needs, and challenges to help determine how occupational therapy can best support them.

Therapeutic Intensives
Our intensives provide 10 days of focused therapy over two weeks, with 90-minute sessions each day. This concentrated approach helps build momentum, strengthen skills, and support meaningful progress toward your child’s goals.

Weekly Interventions
Weekly occupational therapy provides consistent, individualized support to build skills and promote greater participation in everyday activities. Sessions are tailored to each individual’s goals.
School-Based Interventions
We partner with schools to support students within their natural learning environments. Services may include push-in intervention, classroom consultation, environmental and accommodation recommendations, screenings, and staff training to help create supportive environments that promote participation and success at school.

Group Interventions
Our group interventions provide a fun and supportive way to build skills, confidence, and independence while connecting with others. Groups incorporate meaningful, hands-on activities such as cooking and bike riding to help children practice skills in a social and engaging environment.

Co-Treatments with Mental Health
We collaborate with mental health professionals to provide a more connected approach to care. By working together, occupational therapy and mental health providers can address the relationship between regulation, emotional well-being, sensory processing, participation, and everyday functioning.
Our Therapy Process
What to Expect in Your Child's Occupational Therapy
How Do I Get Started?
The first step is scheduling a complimentary intake conversation with one of our occupational therapists. During this conversation, we will learn more about your child's strengths, your concerns, and your goals. We will answer your questions and help determine whether a screening or a comprehensive evaluation is the best next step for your family.
What's the Difference Between a Screening and an Evaluation?
A screening is a 45-minute appointment designed to help determine whether occupational therapy may be beneficial for your child. It is a great option if you are looking to begin services quickly, are transferring from another clinic, or would like to supplement school-based OT services. During the screening, the therapist will determine whether ongoing services are recommended and discuss what a treatment plan may look like based on your child's individual needs.
A comprehensive evaluation is a 90-minute appointment and provides an in-depth understanding of your child's strengths, challenges, and functional skills. It includes clinical observations, standardized assessments (when appropriate), and a comprehensive feedback session to review results. If ongoing therapy is recommended, the evaluation serves as the foundation for an individualized treatment plan.
What Does a Typical Session Look Like?
Occupational therapy sessions are 45-minutes long and weekly frequency is based on your child's unique profile and the therapist's clinical recommendations. Every session is individualized and designed to support your child's goals through engaging, purposeful activities. We also believe parent collaboration is key, so you'll receive updates and practical strategies to help support progress beyond the therapy session.
How Does Payment Work?
We are an out of network provider, this means payment is made directly to our clinic. If your insurance plan offers out-of-network benefits, we can provide a superbill that you can submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement.
